Let students step out of the classroom and into the wild—where every challenge teaches, and every activity builds life skills. At Bear Grylls Explorers Camp, our school programs are built to educate, engage, and empower through fun, safe, and structured outdoor experiences.
From building shelters to navigating new terrain, students gain hands-on survival skills and environmental awareness—all while improving their teamwork, communication, and confidence.
Outdoor Activities
All activities are designed to promote critical thinking, independence, and cooperation. Options include:
- Shelter building & fire lighting
- Basic navigation & compass work
- Ropes course for physical and mental challenge
- Rock climbing & abseiling with safety instruction
- Environmental exploration hikes
- Archery & target shooting
- Team-based obstacle challenges
- Introduction to foraging and bushcraft
Each session balances education, exploration, and excitement—adapted to student age and ability.
Safety First
Student wellbeing is at the core of every program. We ensure:
- All staff are certified in first aid and safeguarding trained.
- All equipment is inspected, and safety tested.
- Programs operate with safe instructor-to-student ratios.
- Emergency medical facilities and protocols are on-site and always active
- Risk assessments and permission templates can be provided upon request
Food & Beverage
We make sure students stay fueled and hydrated throughout their visit:
- Healthy breakfast or pastry box options for day trips
- Pre-arranged group lunch menus
- BBQ dinner options for overnight camps
- All meals can be tailored to dietary and allergy requirements
Overnight Camps
For a deeper experience, schools can opt for overnight stays in our mountain cabins. The camp features 16 private cabins, each accommodating up to 3 students and equipped with air-conditioning, a private bathroom, and essential comforts—perfect for unwinding after a day of outdoor learning.
Evening programs may include:
- Night navigation activities
